You can participate by submitting art and/or by helping with the distribution of the artworks. Each artist should decide beforehand which works he/she want to show and which to give away as a present. Papergirl is distributed like a newspaper, but not edited or printed like one. It consists of art pieces which are rolled up together. Contributions can be handed in by mail or personally, and will finally be included in the art rolls.
FORMAT
There are no guidelines as to format, subject matter or quantity, as long as it is a flat surface and can be easily made into a roll. Originals, prints, photos, copies, material, fabric, transparency etc. come together in one roll. Each roll will contain between 6 -15 different works, meaning that passerby’s will receive a very unique combination of artworks!

ANALOGUE
The submissions can’t be handed in by e-mail, because Papergirl is not digitalized and isn’t reproduced. We want to place value to the handywork and authorship of the artist.
NON- SELECTED PARTICIPATION
Everyone can participate and nothing is selected! This is an important part of the project, Papergirl comes from the streets and is given to the public and ultimately for the viewer to select.
The Papergirl-SA Team reserve the right to refuse any entries deemed unsuitable.
